The hosts of The View, especially Joy Behar, push liberal views on to the public, and generally make fools of themselves trying to twist the facts of news stories to their liking. They are not political experts, by any stretch of the imagination, and Donald Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense, just proved it.
None of the hosts of The View have shown our President any respect; calling him a dictator, encouraging viewers to sign a petition to have him impeached and saying any nasty and negative thing they can come up with about Trump. Joy Behar has gone out of her way to say despicable, liable comments about the commander in chief.
Behar was arguing that Hillary Clinton was the real winner of the 2016 election because she got more votes. Trying to make her argument she told Rumsfield that Donald Trump, “lost by more than three million votes in the popular vote. He won the electoral vote.”
Rumsfeld asked, “What counts?” Behar answered, “Well the electoral vote counts.” And there it is. Uninformed liberal television at it’s best.
Behar and her co-host, Sunny Hostin, kept trying to bait Rumsfeld into saying there were, in fact, ties between Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia. They also tried to get Rumsfeld to agree to their comparison to Watergate. Rumsfeld was too smart for the annoying clucking hens.
Rumsfeld blasted the two saying, “I think suggesting that we are at a point that approximates Watergate I think is a stretch. Why do you want to engage in hypotheticals? This man was elected president of the United States.”
“Nothing has been concluded,” Rumsfeld stated about the Russia investigation, “I have the sense you might be jumping to conclusions.”
Hostin, who is not only a host, but a lawyer, attempted to “cross examine” Rumsfeld to get him to say that Trump should in fact be impeached. Rumsfeld refused to fall into her trap and kept stating that the hosts were, “jumping to conclusions.”
