Stefano Gabbana, half of the dynamic duo Dolce & Gabbana, had a few choice words for Miley Cyrus after she tried to criticize their supposed political beliefs.

Braison Cyrus, pop star Miley Cyrus’ brother, walked in Dolce & Gabbana Menswear runway show for the Spring 2018 line. Miley took to Instagram after the show, to not only congratulate her brother, but to throw shade on the designers.

“PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics…. but I do support your company’s effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see,” Cyrus wrote in the post.

Congrats @braisonccyrus on walking in your 1st runway show…. It's never been my little brothers dream to be a model as HE is one of the most talented musicians my ears have ever been given the gift of hearing…. BUT it is a Cyrus family trait to try everything once (within reason HA) and to embrace opportunities that encourage you to step out of your comfort zone! We believe in trying something new everyday! I love you Prince Suga Bear and seriously congratulations on your experience! I am so proud of you always…. From Nashville to Italy! 👑❤️👑❤️👑❤️ PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics…. but I do support your company's effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!

Stefano Gabbana is not one to sit quietly by when insulted and fired back at Miley, demanding that she not post anything on Instagram about the duo’s brand.

Gabbana wrote, “We are Italian and we don’t care about politics and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses and if you think about doing politics with a post it’s simply ignorant. We don’t need your posts or comments so next time please ignore us!! #boycottdolcegabbana.”

Critics of Dolce & Gabbana demand they follow the leftist policies as many of their fellow designers in the fashion industry do.

Dolce & Gabbana are enthusiastic about dressing First Lady Melania Trump and First Daughter Ivanka Trump. Many high-fashion designers have refused to work with the family such as Tom Ford and Sophie Theallet. Stefano Gabbana has made his choice very clear, he’s proud to dress the First Family and doesn’t care if that means losing customers because of it.

The designing duo has recently created an ad campaign that makes fun of the critics who are insistent that they stop dressing the First Family. Thankfully, they know good people when they see them.
